Why do I feel bad when someone does something nice for me?
Generally, people feel this way because they believe that they are burdens to others and don’t deserve to get gifts or have nice things done for them. From my experience, it’s because I lacked self-compassion and felt as if I didn’t deserve any of the good things given to me.
