How to obtain NGB 22?
NGB Form 22A is meant for changes to your NGB Form 22. The National Guard belongs to individual states, not the federal government, so there is no central repository for records. You have to contact the National Guard Adjutant General’s Office for the particular state in which you performed National Guard service.
Does National Guard count as active duty?
They work for the military full time, may live on a military base, and can be deployed at any time. Persons in the Reserve or National Guard are not full-time active duty military personnel, although they can be deployed at any time should the need arise.
